Manchester, CT, September 9, 2016: Interpreters and Translators, Inc. (iTi), a language services provider whose mission is to provide multicultural language solutions, announces it has received ISO 9001:2008 certification. iTi completed their final audit in March 2016 and became the first Hispanic owned translation agency in New England to receive this certification.

ISO 9001:2008 is an international standard which establishes a quality management system to ensure consistency and accuracy in a company’s operational processes. ISO 9001:2008 is based on quality management principles: customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, fact based decision making, mutually beneficial supplier relationships.

iTi prides itself on superior service and values the same principles the certification is based on, making it a natural next step. “Going through the process for ISO certification has given iTi a great opportunity to take a deep dive into our process and truly refine our quality of services,” explains President Francesco Pagano. “Our clients and partners will both benefit and we are very excited about taking our business to the next level!”
